Why PantherMedia?

PantherMedia is a microstock agency from Germany, founded 2004 in Munich. Alexa reports that 69% of their traffic comes from Germany, even though they have an English website since 2008.
For me it’s a pretty new agency, but because of their interesting partners I think there is enough sales potential to be at least a medium earning agency. I am glad they finally came with a new website version. I like it a lot better than the previous one.

Royalty System

You can earn 30% (or 50% for images not available elsewhere at a cheaper price) with your work. They mostly sell photography, but you can upload your vector illustrations as .jpgs.

The agency has a quantity bonus, which means your royalty increases as your portfolio size grows, paying 1% extra when you reach 250, up to a maximum of 10% extra for 10,000 images.

The tax situation is alright with PantherMedia. If you request your payout (30 Euro threshold), and your are a non-German citizen, they will send you a credit note at the end of the month and transfer the full net amount (without VAT) to your desired account (Paypal, Clickandbuy or Bank transfer). All payouts are in Euro.

Conclusion

There is definitely sales potential, but there is still a long way to go for PantherMedia – the new Website is a step in the right direction!
